TokyoTrip (Day 5) - Tokyo Station

Today just plan for shopping and meet a Japan friend of my best friend. Before we go to meet her, hang around at Tokyo Station. Tokyo Station is a bigger station in Japan and it also a largest food center, there are countless department stores and shopping malls around. 

We walk around the Tokyo station building outside, it really largest and the structure also very nice. After we punch card with the photo , we start to find the way enter in the station underground mall to have our brunch. 

When we enter the underground , there too much direction. We only can go thru Tokyo Station Street(東京車站一番街 ) , Tokyo Anime Character Street(東京動漫人物街) and Tokyo Ramen Street (東京拉麵街).

There have too much choice in Tokyo Ramen Street (東京拉麵街), we were no idea which is the better. Some more every Ramen shop also long queue. We enter the short queue one. I think every shop in this street also nice. 

The shop we tried called  Soranoiro Nippon. We order the basic ramen and the flavors in it were delicious. I saw the guests which next to us, they tried the spicy ramen, it look yummy also. 

After fill up out stomach, we continues our shopping and go to meet the Japan Friend of my best friend. Due to I'm so tired and lazy, i just enjoy my coffee at Starbucks and she went alone to meet her.  I take corner seat and keep uploading my photo at Facebook and Instagram . 

Dinner time we went to Ginza area to enjoy the night. Ginza (銀座) is  Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment place , featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes. 

If you want to dining here, really have a lot choices. We just select a restaurant which the Japan food we never try yet in this journey, that's Okonomiyaki. 

People said if you want to try Okonomiyaki, then Chibo is the best choice . There have few style of Chibo restaurant, like basic style, president and elegance. The one we been were Chibo Elegance.

the environment so nice and a sophisticated interior, it let customer feel conformable. This Chibo Elegance famous in cooking Okonomiyaki and teppanyaki steak.

We order their main dish Chibo Okonomiyaki (千房大阪烧) and Buya Yakisoba(千房什錦醬燒炒麵) .  Besides that, we also order some BBQ stick. The meat so juice and tasty.

If compare other shop Okonomiyaki , Chibo price was much higher than others. It also a most expensive meal we have in this trip. 

TokyoTrip (Day 4) - Meiji Shrine - Robot Restaurant

Start from fourth day, we more on free and easy. We didn't have any plan in our mind, after wake up just go wherever easy to access. 

Meiji Shrine also part of the attraction place in Tokyo. Actually this temple is not far from our homestay . It took about 15min to reach there. First we have to take train then walk a while only .

Meiji Shrine ( 明治神宮) is a emperor shrine and it located in Shibuya area. It also consider second piece of largest green land in Tokyo. We used the google map get the direction to the entrance.

You can see the largest Torii gate at the entrance there and you have to walk thru the whole park only can arrive the Meiji Shrine. 

The surrounding there is so beautiful and i feel very peaceful feeling. You also can see some people will jogging there. This park quite large and you must follow the directory, if not you will make a big turn only can arrive your destination. 

In the main building of Meiji Shrine, we cannot enter in . Because this week they have a big pray event in this area. The middle of the garden hall, they also start to build the stage for pray event purpose. 

After you walk thru the Meiji Shrine, we walk to the Harajuku Station. When you pass by the cross junction, you can notice two side of the park have display a lot of wine barrels. One side is Japaneses wine barrels and another side is Import wine barrels. 

We started our shopping point from Harajuku Station until Shibuya area. Due to this week is Japan Golden Holidays week, there a lot of shop have discount. If we spend whole day here, i think we will broke .

After shopping we going to the happening area in Shinjuku. What we will doing there?We going to Robot Restaurant show.

Of course before you enjoy the Robot show, we have to make our stomach full. In Shinjuku area, really have  a lot restaurant and many particular shop. We also feel so blur and hard to choose. End up we try the BBQ food.

I like the decoration of this BBQ restaurant. It let people feel that so warm and can enjoy so much at here. Here have a special cocktail , which is the Soju with Lemon & Soda. The taste really nice. 

We ordered some beef, chicken, pork and vegetable. The beef really juicy, really worst to eat. Maybe is the location area, compared the area we stay , the price will double. 

After the dinner, we also walk around this area and we also go inside the claw crane machine to try the lucky. OMG we really so lucky to get total 6 toy at this shop. My friend said this shop consider easy than others. Others shop will easy to loose. 

After the see the Robot Restaurant show, i feel is not worst it to see. But if you have more time, you can experience it. Otherwise you can skip it. Most the people watching this show are European , Asian not much people go to watch it. We consider 3% of the guests.The seat quite small, is not suitable for the giant size people to seat,it really not comfortable. 

Before we back to homestay, we to and grab supper again . OMG we really become the big eater. 

TokyoTrip (Day 3) - Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is the place must go when you are in Japan Tokyo .It located at south-west of Tokyo and it also a highest Mountain in Japan. 

Before we come to Japan, we already do some research. It better take a day tour to Mount Fuji ,rather than we go their by our self. 

We bought a day tour from KKDay website. It cost us RM 288/person. The package was included Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, and Oshino Hakkai.

All the people at VIP Lounge Shinjuku before 8:30 morning and after we depart nearby that area.

The Whole tour will come with a tour guide which can speak Mandarin . This Tour Guide really kind and the explanation also very clear. 

From the departure area to Mount Fuji, it will take around 2hour to reach the hill. So we can take a nap during the Journey. (If we go by our self, maybe we could not take a nap) .

After an hour plus, you can notice the Mount Fuji slowly appear . It mean that, your destination will arrive soon. In between we also have a stop at rest stop to restroom. 

The Tour Guide also give us a good news that, today we are lucky can go up to Mt. Fuji Subaru 5th Station. 

Last few week due to winter time and the weather , there not allow the tourist go up until there. The tour will half way change to others place like the park near Mount Fuji Area. 

After pass the gate at Fuji Subaru line 5th station toll road entrance , there a lot tree around 2 side of road . ( The tour guide let us know, the toll fees quite expensive, if we follow the company will be much better) 

The above is the The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station and Komitake Shrine which behind the shops.
Remember when you come to Mount Fuji , please bring along your jacket . when we take off from bus, the weather really cold and we very quickly run into the shop for warming.

After we step in the shop which recommend from tour guide, the shop people will give us a lucky bell and it pray from Komitake Shrine. It good for relationship . The shop people also make us a green tea for taste. (It was good, after you run from the cold weather, after you drink it, your whole body feel warm )

There have another tips from Tour guide, when you use the restroom, please don't put your phone or anythings else which easy to drop at your pant behind. If you unlucky drop into the bowl, it may direct flash out from there.

My best friend husband very fast to get the nice point view to take the whole Mount Fuji image. You can see from the picture, it really beautiful and the snow still on the topping of Mount Fuji.(Just like a Ice cream , hahaha)  

The environment at Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station really nice and i like this kind of weather. We walk thru the whole 5th Station and take a lot of photo.We try to get different view of the Fuji.

At Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station ,it not only can see the Mount Fuji, you also can see The Alps from there. Although is not full clear of the Alps. But you can see the whole shape from there. 

After we get in the bus and continues to the next point - Lake Kawaguchi. We will stop over here for lunch.  

Houto Noodle is must eat meal in during the Mount Fuji trip . Houto Noodle is No.1 local dish at here and Houto is flat udon noodles stewed with vegetables in miso based soup. We like this dish, the noodle very elasticity and chewy. Beside that , it serve with the hot pot , it very suitable like the weather which we go .  

After the meal we also buy a postcard & stamp from the survivor shop and stamp which the Mount Fuji mark. The tour guide said, when we reach the next station, we can post from there.

I can't found the best point the take the lake view. I just walk nearby the lake and took some selfie.
Actual this place quite comfortable and relax. If can stay here a night and relax here, i think can release all the stress.

After the Lake Kawaguchi, we move to Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) .Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region.

The tour guide tell us, we must try fresh spring water straight from its source. You also can bring a drinking bottle to fill up it. 

A little bit lucky, we still can see the Sakura Flower at Oshino Hakkai. We fast grab a photo with it.  

This is the mail box which tour guide tell us can post the postcard from there. So within 2 week , we can received at our country. 

This ice cream also recommended by the tour guide. There have many fruity taste can be choose. The taste so fresh and special. If it can found in Malaysia, sure it will be a sell-able ice cream .

After the Oshino Hakkai we move the our last point - Gotemba Premium Outlet. Before we arrive there, tour guide will asking anybody want to leave the group from there. Because the shopping time which they give is not much time. And this point can easy to get train or bus back to the town.

We consider a lucky trip to Mount Fuji. Every point we go the Mount Fuji also can appear clearly to let us take photo.

After the driver send us back the morning gather place. We take taxi back to our homestay. Actually if we have 3 to 4 person sharing the taxi and the journey is not more than 15 min, it better than take train. ( Actually im lazy to walk ,hahaha).

We also go nearby to grab our late dinner. Come to Japan , of course have to try their Sushi belt .It really have a lot of choice and also many people. Even though already 9 something, still have a lot of people having their dinner also.

TokyoTrip (Day 2) - Sensō-ji - Tokyo Skytree - Tokyo Disneyland

Before start our day 2 plan, we have our's breakfast at Doutor Coffee. Doutor Coffee is a Japanese retail company which specializes in coffee roasting and coffee franchising. It also have in Taiwan , Korea and Malaysia as well.

Due to the timezone different, by the time we want to order breakfast set already over. We just order the sandwich with coffee, it cost about 580 円 . The bread of the sandwich very soft and the coffee really nice. 

After the late breakfast, we toward to our first attraction point .(Now the people said punch card 打卡) . The first attraction point is Sensō-ji 浅草寺. The train in Tokyo for me really complicated. When i saw the line instruction , i already start blur. The whole trip which have to use train, all settle by my best friend. She the one help to find out which line have to take. 

I already forgot how to take train from the homestay area to Sensō-ji. I just know we have to reach Asakusa station and walk few minute to there. Asakusa station was good, it have a lot direction to show you. When we out from the station we have see Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center浅草文化観光 . If you have time and you wish to take the whole picture of the Sensō-ji whole area, you have to go there have a look. Due to the time limitation, we skip it.  

Sensō-ji temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo. The first gate which we enter, it called Kaminarimon (雷門). It is a symbol of Japan's door face and Asakusa.

The statue on the left is the statue of the god of wind and on the right is the god of the thunder. Besides that, there has a large lanterns and it high 3.9 meters , 3.3 meters in diameter and weigh up to 700kg.

After the Kaminarimon (雷門) , you will pass by a street call Nakamise 仲見世通. Most of the shops here are serving a snacks and the Souvenir 

After the Nakamise Street  仲見世通, then will come until Hōzōmon (宝藏门). It consider a second door.The special is after you cross the door and turn back , you can see there hanging one pair largest Sandal. I found in internet mentioned that, it will be change every 10 years and it have to use 2500kg of straw to made each and also heavy .

The final building is the main hall of Sensō-ji . You can see there have a Respect Guan Yin inside the hall. Before you want to enter to the temple, you have to wash you hand next to the building. 

From the main hall two side, you can see Five- Storied - Pagoda and the Skytree tower. 

If you not interesting on the temple, you may walk around the Asakusa area have a lot of street and shop, you can have your lunch there or buy some Souvenir . All the street there are so similar and nice also. The shop also renovated so nice and special, really attractive.  

We just pick a restaurant which look delicious and quite a lot people one. After we sit in, we only notice this restaurant get the Tripadvisor recommended. 

During the lunch meal, we search the next destination Tokyp Skytree tower. Before that, we are plan to take any transport to there. But we google it, it just need less than 15min walk . So after lunch, we slowly walk to there and also enjoy the surrounding scenery.

We rest a while at Tokyo Cruise Terminal. This point you can clearly see The whole Tokyo Skytree Tower and  the Golden Turd ( Asahi flame). From here take photo also nice.

Tokyo Skytree is a most tallest building in Tokyo. Inside included broadcast , restaurant and observation tower. If you have more time or wish to see the whole Tokyo scenery , you can try arrange your time to there. 

It also another bonus for us, we were thinking we have to walk back to train station and take the blur train line to Disneyland . The lucky thing we found out is, there have direct bus from Skytree to Disneyland. Then we can shorten our time and take a nap during the 30 to 40 min journey 

Due to we only bought the Starlight pass. So we only can enter into Disneyland after 6pm. By the time waiting we walk to the Disneyland hotel have a look. It really nice there, next time can stay a night here. 

You can't imagine weekday in Disneyland also have a lot of people. I was thinking only during weekend will be crowned . If we plan weekend come, i don't think we have space to walk . 

This year was Disneyland Tokyo 35 years, so in the park there have many display related 35 years items. We quickly pick a point to take photo with the Disneyland castle.We take from far to the close.

It really beautiful. I don't have much interesting in Disneyland. 

Just because i was here in Tokyo, have to take a short trip to visit . Otherwise i would not spend the time here 

The night view in Disneyland not bad. All the light slowly switch on and it also give us an alert that, the night show coming soon.

During the night time 7:30 pm there have the Parade Show . It called "Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights" and it will took 45 mins to finished. After see this show, i feel i'm no regret to visit Disneyland. 

The Disney stars are literally sparkling in this nighttime parade of lights and music.With Mickey and his pals, including characters from Aladdin, Toy Story and other Disney films, appearing on colorful floats, nighttime in the Park is even more fantasy-filled.

After the Parade Show, it should have to firework show. Due to the weather issue, the show be cancel by the organizer. We a bit disappointment on that. The way we back to take bus, near the entrance shopping area, also have the walk light show. 

Even though we no chance to see the firework show, but we lucky can grab the bus schedule back to Shinjuku area.

Every time go travel sure will easy to get hungry , even though we already have dinner. We walk to the nearby ours homestay area to have ours supper. 

This Matsuya Foods 株式会社松屋 also a franchise restaurant in Japan. It also have some in China. Their major serving the Gyudon (牛丼Beef Rice). It also my first time ordering the food thru the machine. It really good and save manpower.

I order the Onion Grilled Pork Rice and friend order the Gyudon. Both also nice to it. If you the sick which hard to make decision, this 2 option really a good choice.
