Cantonese Sizzling Chicken Clay Pot 啫啫鸡煲 (粤菜)

Cantonese Sizzling Chicken Clay Pot is a traditional local dish in Guang Dong Province. It also very easy to cook and delicious. When you pronounce this dish in Chinese , you will feel funny .

Ingredient :
- 4pcs drumstick (cut in small cube)
- 1pcs small capsicum (cut in cube)
- 1pcs small ginger (slide it)
- 6 to 8 glove garlic
- 1 pcs red Chili (slide it )
- 2 tsp ShaoXing Wine
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/3 beaten egg
- 2 tsp corn flour 
- 1 cup water

Instruction :
- Start marinate the chicken, use a big bowl add in drumstick,oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar and
  beaten egg, then mix it well. Then follow by shaoxing Wine and the corn flour and mix it well
- Heat a pan with small amount oil, add in the marinated chicken and keep stir fried.
- Add in glove garlic and ginger and fried until the aroma out.
- Add a cup water and cover by liq cook until the sauce be less.
- Open liq and add in red chicle and capsicum ,fried 2 min.
- Heat the Clay Pot, transfer all the ingredient into clay pot and cook another 1 min.
- Garnish by Chop Spring Onion then can be serve.


Kebab Arayes

Kebab Arayes is grilled pita bread sandwiches stuffed with meat (Lamb or Beef meat ).It also a middle east dish , juicy meat with the crispy bread.It can cook with normal stripped fry pan or BBQ rack.

But i just follow the middle east spices , the meat i used another type of meat.

Ingredient :
- 150g minced pork
- 1pcs onion (Fine Chop)
- Parsley or Coriander (Fine Chop)
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baharat
- 2tsp olive oil
- 1pcs pita

Instruction:
- Add the meat in the bowl and follow by fine chop onion and parsley ,then add all the spices and olive oil
and mix well.
- Cut the pita in half and fill in with some meat.
- Brush two side of pita with the olive oil.
- Place the Pita in striped Fried Pan with high heat. First on the open side, then follow by 2 side with 2min
each
- Served with some salad and garlic mayonnaise .



Stir Fried Kailan with Salted Fish 咸鱼芥兰

Normally went i go Thailand Restaurant, i'll order the Stir Fried Kailan with salted fish. I also no idea this is Chinese food or Thailand food, i just know it very tasty. 

Ingredient :
- 1pack Kailan
- Few slide Salted Fish
- 1pcs Red Chili (slide it)
- 2 glove Garlic (slice it)
- 2tsp oyster sauce

Instruction :
- Heat a pan with some oil, add in the salted fish and deep fried it.
- Add in the slide red chili ,then follow by garlic
- Add in the Kailan and small amount of water ,then keep stir fried.
- Last add in oyster sauce and fried a while, then can be serve.

Chinese Hot and Sour Soup 酸辣湯

Just spend less than 30 min, you can enjoy a delicious Chinese Hot and Sour Soup (酸辣湯) at home. Have a bowl of hearty, spicy, sour broth during raining day , it really amazing.

Ingredient : 
- 1 pcs Auricularia auricula-judae (Wood Ear 黑木耳)
- 1 pcs Carrot
- 250g Chicken breast 
- 1 box Smoothed Tofu
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp ground white pepper
- 1 pcs Egg
- water

Marinate Chicken :  
- 2 tsp corn flour 
- Pinch salt and Peper Powder
- 1 tsp Sesame oil

Instruction :
- If you use the dry Wood Ear (黑木耳), you have to boil into water and let it be soft .
- Wash the chicken breast and slide into strips , then add in the salt, pepper,  sesame oil and corn 
   flour mix it well and out aside.
- Slide the Wood Ear, Carrot and Tofu in strips. 
- Heat a pan with oil, add in the strips chicken breast and fried. 
- Following by strips carrot then only wood ear.
- Let the ingredient fried and turn colour, then add in the soy sauce from the pan edge and mix it well
- Add in enough water to cover all the mixture then let it boil
- While waiting boiling , take another small bowl to make starch (corn flour and water and mix well)
- Open the liq,add in the vinegar ground white pepper , then slowly add in the starch and mix it well.
- Add in smooth tofu, and use back of the spoon to stir it well.
- Beaten the egg and slowly add in to mixture 
- After 2 min then can be served. 


Salted Fish Fried Pasta 咸鱼意大利面

i found a fusion crossover dish at internet, there is Salted Fish Fried Pasta. It easy to prepare and very tasty. I believe those don't like western food one, will like it also. 

Ingredient :
- Spaghetti (1pax)
- 3Glove Garlic (Fine Chop)
- 3pcs Chili (Fine Chop)
- 1tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2tbsp Fish Sauce
- Small piece salted fish

Instruction :
- Boil a water and add some salt to cook the spaghetti.
- Take another pan and add in oil fried the salted fish until cooked, then take out .
- Crush the cooked salted fish and put aside.
- Use the salted fish cooked oil to fried the fine chop garlic and chili.
- Add in oyster sauce and fish sauce, then following by spaghetti 
- Fried and mix it well with the sauce then add in the crushed salted fish continues fried. 
- Then can be served, don't forget garnish by parsley .

Bo All Day Dining @ The Linc KL

Last Sunday me and darling went to The Linc K.L to shop grocery things and have our's brunch over there also . It may new in K.L center, so there nor much cafe or restaurant yet. We walk around the mall and found one of the restaurant which located in middle of mall and which next to the bigger and decades-old tree . 

Bo All Day Dining is a fusion type restaurant and the environment like a restaurant in the rain forest city. All the staff also very friendly. 

They have brunch menu from 10am until 4pm . We order Eggs Benedict and Dutch pancake with chicken. If you not the Heavy taste person, you may like the taste.For the main dish maybe will be have stronger taste. The first person in my darling mind who's will like light taste, that's Tracy. So we may plan to have another round with here at this restaurant. So on that time will taste others dish of this restaurant.

Hisyou Japanese & Chinese Restaurant

Why i have to work on Saturday, really boring and not effective. Every time my HR giving suggestion also been rejected by Management. Really " SIEN" !!!!!! Even though only work half day, but we also not happy for that. 

Normally Saturday after work i also take away back home, but this week i tried to enjoy my meal at outside. Setapak area have many spotting place, recently so hit area is PV128 & PV 126. That's because that area have a lot of famous bubble tea. 

From my office to PV 128 less than 10 min drive. After i park my car just walk around which restaurant is nice and doing special offer. 
When i pass by this restaurant (Hisyou) , the staff very friendly recommend their food and i feel the environment also comfortable. 

Hisyou , they serving Japanese and Chinese food. The price of them also reasonable and affordable.

 I order a set of chicken katsu don , it cost me RM 13.90 ++. The set include Salad, Chawanmushi (Steam egg), Dessert, Soup , Green Tea and Main course. The taste overall for the food i order was good and the portion quite okay, others one i have to try on next time. But for sure will try their Chinese food next time. Maybe can get the fusion taste.

Korean Style Abalone Porridge

After i buy the Korean Abalone, i really no idea what recipe can be use. I found at the youtube and get a simple cooking style for this. " Korean style Abalone Porridge" , just nice i also wish to have porridge as my dinner. 

Ingredient : 
- 1 cup rice
- 2 to 3 pcs Korean Abalone
- 1pcs Carrot (Fine chop)
- Spring onion (Fine chop)
- Water
- Salt
- Pepper

Instruction : 
- Wash the rice and put aside
- Clean the abalone, take out the guts (organ) and shell. 
- Heat the pan with oil, add in the abalone guts and fried well, 
- Add in the rice fried together 
- Add in the carrot keep fried. 
- Add in the water cook about 30 min, in between remember keep stir it, if not may stick on the pot
- After 30 min, add in spring onion and keep stir. 
- Add the Korean abalone and salt and pepper for taste. 
- cook another 10 min, then can be served.


Sunday Home-cook Dinner for Special Guest

Supposedly i didn't plan to cook dinner, suddenly get a message and one special guest will visit me. I quickly go to kitchen and check what kind of dinner can be prepared. Recently my fridge stock up a lot of seafood. I take out some prawn, octopus and the chicken. 

During the defrost moment, have to thing what kind of recipe to use and ingredient preparation . Some more i have to get ready in between 90min before the guest coming. 
For the prawn i use Chinese Recipe . It simple and fast.

For the octopus the simple way is steamed. So i use Thai recipe to cook it.

For Chicken i use the most simple Japanese Style to cook, Because this is the most faster way to cook.

All the dish been finished and don't have any complaint from the guest. He really so polite don't make any commend on that.

Teriyaki Chicken

Teriyaki Chicken is a super easy chicken recipe cooked in 10-minutes with no marinading.

Ingredient :
- 1pcs Boneless drumstick (cut in cube size)
- 3 glove garlic (fine chop)
- 1tbsp soya sauce
- 3tsp brown sugar
- 3tsp ginger (fine chop)
- 3tsp White sesame 

Instruction :
- Take a small bowl add in the fine chop garlic, ginger, brown sugar , soya sauce and mix well
- Cut the boneless drumstick in cube size and add in the teriyaki mixture and leave for 10min
- Heat the pan and add in some oil , then add in the chicken and stir fried. 
- After the chicken turn dark brown , can add in all the mixture and keep fried until the sauce thicker 
- Last add in the white sesame and mix well, then can be serve. 

Steamed Octopus with Chili Garlic Lime

For octopus i prefer steamed or grilled. It will be more nice and juicy. I use the Thai recipe to cook it. The Lime sauce can make the octopus more tasty

Ingredient :
- 1 small pack octopus
- 2 pcs chili padi (Fine chop)
- 2 glove slice garlic
- 2 glove fine chop garlic
- 2 pcs lime and Squeeze it
- 4 tbsp fish sauce 
- 2 tps sugar

Instruction:
- Clean the octopus and arrange on the steam plate. Then add in slice garlic on top of octopus .
- Boil the water can add in the octopus steam about 4min
- Take a small bowl add in the sugar, fish sauce , fine chop garlic,fine chop chili padi and mix well
- After 4 min steamed, pour out the water which in octopus steam plate and pour in the sauce mixture
  and steam another 3min, then can be served.


Garlic Spring Onion Fried Prawn

Garlic Spring Onion Fried Prawn is a simple Chinese recipe and fast to preparation. It so tasty. 

Ingredient :
- 5pcs U10 Prawn
- 2 tbsp Fine chop Garlic
- Slice Ginger 
- Fine chop spring onion
- 1 tbsp soya sauce 

Instruction :
- Clean the prawn and add in 1 tbsp fine chop garlic marinate a while
- Heat a pan and add in the marinate prawn and keep fried, 
- When the prawn turning color to orange, add in the slice ginger ,tbsp fine chop garlic and fine chop
  spring onion and keep stir fried until fragrant.
- Add in the soya sauce from the pan side.
- Mix it well then can be served.

Tuna Penne Pasta

If you wish to cook a simple and delicious meal ready within 30 minutes, you can choose Tuna Penne Pasta.

Ingredient :
- 75g Tuna (any can tuna)
- 3 glove garlic (Fine chop)
- Chinese parsley (Fine chop)
- 5 tbsp pasta sauce
- Penne Pasta
- Water
- Pinch salt and pepper
- Olive oil

Instruction : 
- Boil some water and add in some salt and oil. Then add in the Penne pasta cook about 15min
- In the same time heat another pan , add in Olive oil and follow by Tuna.
   (If use Olive oil Tuna, just straight to use that oil to cook ) 
- Add in garlic stir fried , then add in the pasta sauce and water. 
- Keep stir the mixture and add in pinch of salt and pepper. 
- When the Penne full cooked, drain it and add into the pan. 
- Add in fine chop chinese Parsley and mix it well , then can be serve. 



Lala Meehoon Soup 啦啦米粉汤(Less Spicy)

I believe a lot people like to eat Lala Meehoon Soup,especially after rain. Let's see what ingredient have to prepare . (i skip some ingredient)

Ingredient :
- 30g Ginger
- Spring Onion
- Garlic
- 1 pack Lala (Clam)
- Mee Hoon
- Stock
- Prawn
- 2tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1/4 cup shaoXing Wine
- 1tbsp soya sauce
- pinch of salt
- pinch of sugar
- Pepper

Instruction :
- Slice the ginger, spring onion and garlic. Also chop some spring onion for garnish.
- Add some water into pot and blanch the meehoon, after the meehoon soften and pour out ,put aside.
- Heat a pant , add the sesame oil . Then add in the ginger and fry until fragrant.
- After the ginger turn brown, add in the spring onion and garlic.
- Add in the stock and let it boil. Then add in Clam .
- Add in ShaoXing Wine, soya sauce, salt and sugar 
- Lightly stir the soup , then add in the pepper.
- Pour the lala soup into the divide meehoon and add the some spring onion then can be served.

Hot Sour Pickled Seafood Pot

Recently my family members ,included me like to buy seafood thru FB live. My brother recommended a page called  虾王Umance, he sell all the frozen seafood. Prices is reasonable , some more include delivery in between K.L and Selangor. Even though all the seafood are frozen, but the taste still good. 

Ingredient :
- Stock soup 
- 4pcs Tomato
- 1pack Enoki Mushroom
- 1pack White Shimeji
- 1pack Pickled Cabbage
- 10 glove Garlic (slide it)
- Spring Onion
- Coriander
- Fine chop chili
- Chili oil
- Chile flakes
- Steamboat pack
- Seafood 

Instruction:
- Ready to stock soup , you can use packing one or you cook it by yourself
- Clean all the seafood and put aside.
- Cut the tomato in cube size and arrange the Enoki Mushroom, White Shimeji and steamboat pack 
  into the big stainless steel plate or steamboat pot. 
- Heat a wok and fried the Pickled Cabbage and garlic. It will be more tasty .
- Add the fried ingredient on top of arrangement plate. 
- Put the arrangement plate on the portable gas stove , add in the stock and start to boil it.
- After boil, add in Spring Onion,Coriander,Fine chop chili,Chili oil and Chile flakes and mix well 
  with the soup
- Can slowly add in the seafood and others steamboat food

Steamed Pork Patty With Salted Fish

Steamed pork patty with salted fish is a simple and delicious Chinese dish. It also company my childhood life. My grandmom and my mom also like to cook for us. 

Ingredient :
- 250g Pork Mince 
- small cube Ginger (Cut into thin strips)
- 1/4pcs Salted fish (Diced)
- 2 tsp soy sauce 
- 2 tsp ShaoXing Wine
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp pepper 
- Some spring onion

Instruction :
- Heat a pan and half cook the salted fish, then diced it.
- Combine the mince meat and diced salted fish.
- Add in half portion strips ginger, soy sauce, shaoxing wine, corn flour, sesame oil and pepper.
- Mix all the combination well then paste it flat on the plate and add the balance strips ginger on top.
- Steam it 15min on medium high heat
- Garnish with spring onion and can be served.
