Chicken Masala

Last 2 week my friend bought me some spices from Indian. I used one of it cook tonight dinner. 
Let's see what ingredient have to prepared :

Ingredient :
- 1 kg Chicken
- 2 Onion (Fine Chop )
- 2 Green Chili (slit) 
- 2 Tomato (Diced )
- 1 1/2 Ginger Garlic (Fine Chop )
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1tsp Chili Powder
- 3 tsp Chicken Masala Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
-  Water enough cover the chicken 
- Coriander Leave
- Mint Leave
- Curry Leave

Instruction :
1. Put the oil and start cook the fine chop onion , then add in green chili as well .
2. Add in the ginger garlic keep cook until the onion turn little bit to brown, add in the tomato.
3. Add in all the spices(turmeric, Chili and Chicken Masala) and  mix it well, then following  by the chicken meat.
4. When the chicken slowly turn to pink colour, add in so salt to increase the taste. 
5. Stir a while and add in the water to enough 2/3 meat and close with liq and cook about 5 min.
6. Add in Coriander and Mint Leave and stir in, then close with liq cook another 15min to 20min.
7. Final add in some fresh coriander and curry leave , then can be served.

BBQ Back Pork Rib

This recipe i found it at YouTube and tonight i tried out. Although it took long time to cook it, but it really delicious. 
Let's prepare the ingredient 


Marinate Ingredient : 
- 3 tbs Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper

Others Ingredient : 
- 1 rack of back pork rib
- 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce


Instruction :
1. Mix all the marinate ingredient into a bowl.
2. Rub all the marinate mixture on both side
3. Use Aluminum Foil fold it and put into fridge marinate more than 2 hr above. 
4. Preheat the oven and put the rack rib into it with 180' bake about 2hr.
5. After 2 hour, check the meat.
6. Pour out the sauce from the aluminum foil and add it into the Barbecue Sauce mix it.
7. Apply the  Barbecue Sauce mixture on both side and bake another 15min.

Flower Swiss Roll at Good Times DIY & Lifestyle Cafe at MyTown

This was my second time visit Good Times DIY. My friend still have leave over coupon and ask me company here to learn baking.

I like to eat Swiss Roll , so i choose the Flower Swiss Roll as today topic. It so easy.

  Ingredient for drawing (A) :
- 20g Cake Flour
- 20g Icing Sugar
- 3pcs Egg
- 20g Unsalted Butter

Ingredient for Swiss Roll (B) :
- 90g Cake Flour
- 38g Caster Sugar
- 38g Caster Sugar
- 45g Corn Oil
- 75g Water
- 3tsp Vanilla Essence

Ingredient for filling cream (C) :
- 25g Caster Sugar
- 150g Whipping Cream
Instruction drawing :
1. Separate the egg white and egg yolk into the small bowl.
2. Then measure 20g egg white to use and the balance keep for later
3. Soften the unsalted butter , then add in the (A) cake flour, icing sugar and the 20g egg white.
4. Whisk until well incorporated. After separate into 3 bowls, add in red colour, yellow colour and chocolate , then mix well .
5. Put into 3 piping bags.
6. Prepare the swiss roll baking pan with baking paper.
7. Draw the flower pattern using the coloured cake batter. After keep it inside the fridge.

Instruction Swiss Roll :
1. Put 3 egg yolk into mixing bowl, then add in 1 portion caster sugar and mix by using whisk until it turns light yellow colour.
2. Slowly add in water and keep mixing.
3. Slowly add in corn oil and continues mixing.
4. Add the sifted cake flour and mix well until mixture look smooth.
5. Last add in vanilla essence and mix well , then put aside.
6. Put the balance egg white into mixing bowl and beat with high speed 6 with 30 sec
7. Add in caster sugar by 2 times and beat until stiff peak. ( 1/2 with 6speed with 30 sec /  1/2 with 6 speed with 1min / last speed with 4 speed with 30sec )(have to foamy like ice cream )
8. Slowly add in egg white mixture into the flour mixture by 3 time. Mix gently with a spatula. ( Use J type turning bowl method to mix well )
9. Pour the mixture into the swiss roll baking pan with drawing, then use scrapper to smooth the surface.
10. Tap the cake pan on table to remove the air bubbles.
11. Place into lower middle level of preheated oven bake 15 to 18 min with 170.

Instruction filling cream :
1. Add in caster sugar and the whipping cream to beat with high speed 8 with 2min30sec

Combined Instruction :
1. Remove the cake from oven and let it cool down.
2. Turn the cake to the new baking sheet and remove the old one .
3. Turn again to another new baking sheet. ( the drawing pattern must at bottom )
4. Apply a thin layer of cream on the full piece of cake
5. Roll up the cake slowly with gentle action.
