Buka Puasa at Carcosa Seri Negara - Part One

This year my boss invited us to Gulai House , Carcosa Seri Negara Buka Puasa. He said that this place is a significant historical significance. As a Malaysian, some of us really no idea where is Carcosa Seri Negara and there have any cafe or restaurant ?

As i know Carcosa Seri Negara is a British building and also a most expensive luxury hotel before . It not only a hotel, it also have a lot rich people had their wedding event here. But about the historical really no idea about that.

Carcosa Seri Negara is build up from Carcosa & Seri Negara 2 building which is Carcosa & Seri Negara. Carcosa was build in 1896 and the Official Residence of  Sir Frank Athelstane Swettenham (The Resident General of The Federated Malay States).

Seri Negara was build in 1913, was originally known as the Governor's Residence. King's House was vacated by the British High Commissioner on August 31, 1957, and returned to the Malayan Government. It was named as Istana Tetamu .

The Carcosa and the Seri Negara were combined and managed as one property in 1989 , so now called Carcosa Seri Negara.

Let's have a look the Exterior of Seri Negara. It really look awesome! When the time we arrived, some of us also said "WOW" , it was beautiful building .

The whole building of Seri Negara, full of British concept design. When you are feel , you will fall in love with this. Feel comfortable and relaxing. If can have high-tea at this area , i think i'll enjoy it so much .

Not only the Exterior is nice, even thought the side corridor also nice to gather and sitting there have tea and chi-chat.

Today we been arranged at the "The Drawing Room " enjoy our Buka Puasa. Before we arrived , the person in charge already arranged the seat and the buffet .

When you walk into the middle hall, you can notice there have some historically things display there.
