Me and my mum also love this dish. Normally was my mum cook it every celebration or family gathering. The taste which my mum cook was so amazing . Everyone of family and relative, even my best friend also love it.
Coming my mum " Deceased 100 Day's" , i wish to cook this "Pork Trotters in Ginger and Balack Vinegar (猪脚醋)" for my mum. I have to try cook before the ceremony . Otherwise i worry the taste will not good.
- 1 pcs Pork Trotters (about 1.5kg)
- 750ml Black Vinegar ( 1bottle)
- 300g Bento Ginger
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 1/2pcs Palm Sugar (Gula Melaka)
- 350ml bottle water
Instruction :
- Peel the gingers, then smack ginger a bit before cut into thick slices.
- Boil a wok of water and slowly add in the pork trotters.
- Lightly blanch the pork trotters for few minutes to remove any impurities.
- Drain the pork trotters from the boil water then wash again with cold water.
- Take a pot or big wok, add in Sesame oil and fried the ginger .
- After slowly add in the pork trotters and keep stir fry.
- Add in black Vinegar and keep stir and cover the liq cook about 20min.
- Add in palm sugar and cover the liq cook about 20min.
- Keep stew about 2 hour above, the taste will be more infuse into the meat thoroughly.
- Ready to be serve.
