Ingredient :
- 1 pork knuckle (1.5kg)
- 1 pcs Onion (Cut in slide)
- 1 pcs Ginger
- 6 glove garlic
- 3 small can peanut
- 3 pcs star Anise
- 1 pcs Cinnamon Stick
- 2 pcs Bay Leave
- 4 pcs dry chili
- 8 pcs peppercorns
- 3 tbsp rock sugar
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- water enough cover the pork knuckle
Instruction :
- Cut the pork knuckle in Middle cube. Then boil the water and add in the pork knuckle and the
ginger. Lightly blanch the pork for few minutes to remove any impurities .
- Drain the pork knuckle from the boil water then wash again with cold water.
- Take a pot and add in the star Anise, Bay Leave, Cinnamon stick and peppercorns , then stir fried
without oil until the aroma come out.
- Add in some oil , then add in dry chili ,garlic , ginger and onion and stir fried a while
- Add in the pork knuckle and continues stir and follow by oyster sauce and dark soy sauce.
- Add the soy sauce from the edge of the pot and keep stir fried, then add in rock sugar and the water
which enough cover the pork knuckle .
- Cover the liq and middle fire cook about 45 min.
- After 45min, taste it and add in the Can peanut and continues cook another 30 min.
- Then can be served.
