Electric Lunch Box - Others Recipe

Let see how to cook rice and others dish by using Electric Lunch Box

Plain Rice:
Timing : 50min
Ingrediet :  1 cup of rice ( use the measurement cup which inside the package) add in 120ml water.

Corn & Carrot Rice:
Timing : 50min
Ingrediet :  1 cup of rice ( use the measurement cup which inside the package) ; 120ml water; 1/6 carrot (slide small cube size; 1/4 corn 


Chicken Rice:
Timing : 50min
Ingrediet :  1 cup of rice ( use the measurement cup which inside the package) ; 120ml water; 2 pandan leaf (cut small side) ;  2 glove garlic ;  1 small onion ; 2 slice ginger ; 1 tbsp butter. 
Instruction :  Add all ingredient then cook it.


Except use chicken , some time i also try cook others ingredient like seafood and pork meat.


Asam Fish : 
Timing : 50min
Ingrediet :  Grouper Fish (Small Slice) , 5 pcs Ladies Finger (Slice it) ; 1 small tomota ;  1 small onion (Slice it) ; half pack of Asam Paste ;  2 tbsp water
Instruction :  Add all ingredient marinate at least 30 min, then can cook.


Cheese Sausage Clam Paste
Timing : 50min
Ingrediet :  Clam ;  Sausage ;  White Pasta Sauce ; Mozzarella Cheese ; Panne ( 1 person portion) ;  1 tsp salt 
Instruction :  Add the panne at retangular container and add in full of water with salt, then cook about 30 min, after add in the clam, sausage and white pasta sauce , continues cook about 10min, last add in mozzarella cheese cook 10 min.


Chili Garlic Prawn
Timing : 40min
Ingrediet : Prawn ;  3 glove garlic ; 1 pcs chili ; 1tsp chinese wine ; 1tsp salt
Instruction : Add in all ingredient then cook it


Asam Prawn and Clam 
Timing : 40min
Ingrediet : Prawn ; Clam ;  5 pcs Ladies Finger (Slice it) ; 1 small onion (Slice it) ; half pack of Asam Paste ;  2 tbsp water ;  curry leave 
Instruction :  Add all ingredient marinate at least 30 min, then can cook.


Meat Patty with Salty egg and Salty fish
Timing : 40min
Ingrediet : Meat ; 1 salty egg ;  1pcs salty fish (smash it) ; 1 tsp chinese wine ;  1 tbsp soy sauce
Instruction :  Add all ingredient marinate at least 30 min, then can cook.

Electric Lunch Box Recipe - Chicken

Let see what kind of chicken style i cook by using Electric Lunch Box. If on that day i have prepare soup for lunch then i have to start cook 2 hour before. I'll add in soup container to cook 1 hour 1st, then add in the rice and dish of the day and continues cook another 40 to 60 min.  


Salty Fish Chicken
Timing :  40min to 60 min
Ingredient : Bloness Chicken ; slice ginger ; salty fish ; 1tsp Chinese wine ; 1tbsp soy sauce ;
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour, then put in the Lunch box cook.

Spicy Bean Paste Chicken
Timing :  40min to 60 min
Ingredient : Chicken ; 1pcs Chili padi ; 3 glove garlic ; 2tbsp spicy bean paste ; 
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour, then put in the Lunch box cook.

Enoki Mushroom Chicken
Timing :  40min to 60 min
Ingredient : Chicken ; 1 pack Enoki Mushroom; 3 Glove Garlic ;1tsp Chinese wine ; 1tbsp soy sauce ;
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour, then put in the Lunch box cook.

Dang Gui Red Date Chicken
Timing :  40min to 60 min
Ingredient : Chicken ; 2 slice Dang Gui ; 6 to 8 pcs Red date ;1tsp Chinese wine ; 1tbsp soy sauce ;small amount of wolfberry 
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour, then put in the Lunch box cook. ( wolfberry last 10 min only add in)


Cheeses Curry Chicken Rice
Timing :  80min
Ingredient : Small Can Chicken ; 1 portion rice ; mozzarella
Instrution: Cook the rice about 40 to 50 min ; Add in the chicken can cook about 10min ;  After add the mozzarella cheese cover the chicken and cook about 10 to 15min.


Hainansse Chicken Rice
Timing : 60min
Ingredient : Chicken ; Slice Ginger ; Spring Onion ;  Lemonglass ; 1tsp Chinese Wine ; 1tbsp Soy Sauce
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour then setting the lemonglass, spring onion and slice giner at the bottom container then add chicken ontop on it. then put in the Lunch box cook.


Wujiang Pickle Chicken
Timing : 60min
Ingredient : Chicken ; Slice Ginger ; 1 pack Wujiang Pickle ; 1tsp Chinese Wine ; 1tbsp Soy Sauce
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour then put in the Lunch box cook.


Soy Sauce Chicken
Timing : 60min
Ingredient : Chicken ; Slice Ginger ; 1tsp Chinese Wine ; 1tbsp Soy Sauce ; 1 tbsp dark soy sauce ; 1tsp pepper.
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour then put in the Lunch box cook.


Ginger Paste Chicken
Timing : 60min
Ingredient : Chicken ; 1/2 tsp salt ; 2 tbsp ginger paste
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour then put in the Lunch box cook.


Dang Gui Salty Fish Chicken
Timing : 60min
Ingredient : Chicken ; 2pcs Dang Gui ;  6 pcs Red date ; 1 pcs salty fish ;  1 tsp chinese wine ;  1 tbsp soy sauce .
Instrution: Add all ingredient and let it marinate at least 2 hour then put in the Lunch box cook.

Electric Lunch Box Recipe

Most the time i cook are chinces cruise and the taste all consider medium level. Since i move to stay with my Indian Family i also seldom have the chinese soup. If possible everytime ill have a light soup together for my lunch.

Electric Lunch Box - Soup Recipe (Vegetable)

Electric Lunch Box cook soup really suitable for one person portion. Of course there have a limitaion ingredient can add in. Because have to measure by the round container , so i aslo didn't add any meat. You can see from the picture all clear like the water.

If you using Electric Lunch Box cook soup for youself then can you to strew it minimum 2 hour. In between you also have to add on the bottle layer water,otherswise Electric Lunch Box will burning. 

Sweet Corn Carrot Soup
Timing : 2 Hour
Ingredient :  1/3 corn ; 1/3 carrot ; 6 to 8 pcs red date ; salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water

White Carrot Soup (white radish)
Timing : 2 Hour
Ingredient :  1/2 White radish  ; 6 to 8 pcs red date ; salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water

Pickled Vegetable Tofu Soup
Timing : 1 Hour
Ingredient :  1/2 bag pickled vegetable  ; 1 small tomato ; 1 pcs tofu salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water

Pumpkin Soup
Timing : 2 Hour
Ingredient :  1/4 Pumpkin  ; 2 pcs bottom part of coriander ; salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water

ABC Soup
Timing : 2 Hour
Ingredient :  1/3 Carrot  ; 1 small potato ; 1 small tomota ; salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water.


Lou Wong Kua Soup
Timing : 2 Hour
Ingredient :  1/2 Lou Wong Kua  ; 6 to 8 pcs red date ; salt 1/3 tsp ;  add full of the container water.

Propappa - 2 Layers Portable Electric Lunch Box

After MCO back to work, also worry to take away from the food store. To avoid always eat the food outside, i bought a Portable Electric Lunch Box. There have a lot of choice in the market and i choose this Propappa 2 layers model. 

                  

The one i bought have 1 rectangular container  at the upper layer and 2 round container at bottom layer. It really simple and easy to use. 


You can use it as normal Lunch Box and preheat back the food or you can use it like rice cooker or stew pot or cooking pot. 


Very simple step to use it.
1. Pour in water at the bottom layer. (There have a level water mark )
2. Place all the food contianer and cover it.
3. Plug in the cable and press start button . 

It sound very simple, but when use on different type of food already have to monitor a bit. I'll share on the next page for the recipe and the cooking time.

Mung Bean Curry (Green Bean Curry)

In my mind, green bean normally we cook for the sweet soup. Today I know it also can cook for the curry. Let see what ingredient have to prepared

Ingredient:
- 1 1/2 cup Mung Bean (Green Bean)
- 2 tps Turmeric Powder
- 2 tps Salt
- 3 clove Garlic (smash)
- 2 pcs Chili Padi
- 2 tbsp oil 
- 2 pcs Potatoes (Chu in small Cube)
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Fish Curry Power
- 2 tsp Chicken Curry Powder
- 3 pcs Tomatoes
- 4 tbsp Tamarind Water

Tempering Ingredient :
- 1 pcs Onion (Cut Slice)
- 1 tps Mixed Spice seed
- 3 tps fennel seed
- 1 Inch Ginger (Fine Chop)
- 1 Stalk Curry Leaf (Cut Slice)
- 1 Stalk Coriander (Fine Chop)
- 5 pcs Dry Chili (Cut half)
- 1 Stalk Curry Leaf (Cut Slice)

Instruction:
1. Heat a pot with 6 cup water, then add in the Mung Bean
2. Add in the turmeric powder, salt, garlic,chili padi and oil. Let it boil
3. Add in the potatoes and let it cook a while. 
4. Then add in the tomatoes and continues boil
5. Add in the Fish Curry Powder, Chicken Curry Powder and Chili Powder and continues cook
6. Heat another pan with oil to prepare the tempering. 
7. Add in the mixed spice seed, fennel seed and slice onion.
8. Add in dry chili , ginger and coriander and cook until the onion turn to brown color. 
9. Last add in the curry leaf and stir then can leave fire.
10. Back to the mung bean there, pour the tamarind water and cook about 2 min. 
11. Add little bit hot water into the tempering and pour it into the mung bean pot and stir well then can be served. 


Sardine Sambal

Let try to cook the Sardine Sambal. It so delicious, after add others ingredient together. 

Ingredient :
- 1 can Sardine (Ayam Brand 425g) 
- 1 pcs Tomatoes (Slice Cut)
- 4 clove Garlic (Fine Chop)
- 5 pcs Shallot (Fine Chop)
- 4 tbsp Tamarind Water
- 6 tsp Chili poweder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
-  Water

Instruction:
1. Heat a wok with oil then add in the fine chop garlic and shallot.
2. Add in the tomatoes and cook for a while.
3. Add in Chili and Turmeric powder and pour in 1/3 cup water and let it boil until the tomatoes smash.
4. Add in the Can Sardine and add 1/3 cup water and let it cook.
5. Last add in the tamarind water and cook 1 to 2min then can be served.

Chapathi

Stay at home too long time, no idea what food have to eat. Today my son Pāṭṭi teaching me to do Chapathi for ours dinner. 

Chapathi is Indian flat bread with whole wheat flour, salt, water and oil. It can pared with many type of Indian dish. We pared with Mung Bean Curry and Sardine Sambal

Ingredient:
- 500g Whole Wheat Flour / Atta
- 3 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- Ghee

Instruction:
1. Add the water, butter and salt to boil.
2. Add the Whole Wheat Flour in to big bowl and slowly add in the boiled water and mix it well
3. Then start to knead the dough about 5 min to 8 min, then let the dough rest about 10min. 
4. Divide the dough into small portion and start to spread it into a round .
5. Heat the pan and start cook.When small bubbles appears  in top part, turn the other side cook until both sides gets brown spots.  Slightly press the sides with spatula then it will help the chapathi to puff up. It takes about roughly 2 minutes. 
6. Both side can apply some ghee then put in the container keep.

Bean Paste Steam Fish (酱蒸鱼)

Every Chinese Family also will keep a bottle of Fermented Bean paste or Taucu sauce at home. Because it so simply to use it to cook a dish and fast.

Today i'll use it to steam fish, let what others ingredient have to prepare. 

Ingredient :
- 1 pcs fish 
- 3 tbsp Fermented Bean Paste (Taucu)
- 2 pcs Chili padi (Fine Chop)
- 1 inch Ginger (Fine Chop)
- 10 clove Garlic (Fine Chop)
- 4 pcs Shallot (Fine Chop)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 stalk coriander (for Garnish )

Instruction:
1. Heat the wok with oil, add in fine chop shallot and garlic, then add in ginger and chili padi. 
2. Add in the Fermented Bean Paste (Taucu) and the water and keep stir.
3. Add in the sugar and keep stir , then taste it. In between you can adjust the bean paste salty taste you like or add in sugar to reduce the salty level. 
4. After cook keep it aside. 
5. Use another wok add in water to steam fish. After the water boil only add in the fish. 
6. First 5min take out the fish and throw the fish water. 
7. Add in the cooked paste on top the fish and steam another 10 min to 15min. (depend the size of fish)
8. After the fish steamed, heat a little bit oil and pour on top of fish then add in coriander then can be served.

Jungle Theme Birthday with Thai Food

Time really passing so fast, my little boy already turn to 1 year old. From born until now also in the Covid-19 epidemic. Malaysia from MCO turn CMCO turn to RMCO and now turn back to FMCO , so every celebration also been cancel. For my little boy, we didn't invite any one and just among the family who's stay together. 

From the early stage we are planning to have a jungle theme for his birthday. So we did a simple decoration and the Thai food for the dinner.
