Strew Pork Knuckle

Chinese Ching Ming Festival coming soon, this few week will have a lot people go to grave to pray. Some people will prepare the food which passing away person like to eat. 

This year i try to cook the strew pork knuckle and bring to there pray for my parents. 

This recipe i get from my brother and very easy .

Ingredient :
- 1 Pork knuckle or Pock hock 
- 4 Slide Ginger
- 4 Star Anise
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Whole Garlic
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce 
- 6 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Rock Candy
- Water enough cover the pork meat

Instruction :
1. Cut the pork knuckle in Middle cube. Then boil the water and add in the pork knuckle and the ginger. Lightly blanch the pork for few minutes to remove any impurities .
2. Drain the pork knuckle from the boil water then wash again with cold water. 
3. Take a pot add in rock candy with low fire. Let the rock candy melt and turn to brown color add in the pork knuckle to mix well . (This let the pork knuckle have nice color)
4. After add in the star Anise, cinnamon stick and garlic stir fry together with pork knuckle. 
5. Add in the Oyster Sauce and Soy Sauce ,then mix it well and add in enough water to cover the pork meat.
6. Use middle strew about 50min to 60min . If the meat not enough soft like you wish, you can cook another 15min more. 
7. Then can be serve.
