Long time didn’t have any short term with friends or
family. Sometime really need a break and run away from the city. There just
nice I’m in Johor, so just make impromptu trip to Desaru which nearby Kota Tinggi.
Drive from the Skudai to Desaru via Lebuhraya Senai about 1 hour plus.
Desaru is a coastal resort area in Southeastern Johor,
Peninsular Malaysia. It located nearby Bandar Penawar which about 2 KM from
there. There is no public transport in Desaru. If you
find yourself stuck with no bus to take you to Bandar Penawar, try asking the
staff at the restaurant to call you a taxi. They know a lot of taxi drivers and
most likely will love to help both you and their driver friend.
Currently Desaru still under develop, a lot of
new resort located here right now. One of the famous resort there is Lotus. It just located next to the beach and it have their own lagoon.
Desaru beach is really nice and clean. There have some store for selling the stuff and food as well.
There have some BBQ area provide to visitors , so can bring along the BBQ stuff and have fun there.

Actually if you have more time, close by Desaru still have few spot place to go like Muzium Nelayan Tanjung Balau , Desaru Fruit Farm, Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm , Desaru Ostrich Farm and also can have lobster meal at Sungai Rengit.
