Marriage with a Vietnamese already becomes more popular
now. Last time some people will mentioned this as buy off marriage .Because the
man who cannot get marriage with local ladies, they will buy a wife from the
agent and build up their own family. Some may happiness some may not. That’s because
they don’t have any love before get marriage.
There my first time have this experience with my family
member. My brother wants to marriage with
her Vietnamese girlfriend. Due to different Nationality, really have a lot of
things have to prepare and many different rule have to follow.
At the first, it also likes ours Chinese traditional way need
the senior which in the family went to the ladies family propose the marriage
and the Betrothal Gift Ceremony. In this Ceremony they use their traditional
way to make it. They invite all the relative come over to attend. All the
senior will sit at the living hall can listen us how to propose the marriage. Due
to we don’t know how to speak Vietnam language, they ask one of the relative
translate for us.

After done the Betrothal Gift Ceremony, the actual
wedding Ceremony will be after 2 week. It also similar like Chinese, we have to
bring the tea set, bring the fruits and others to marry. My Brother and his
wife have to wear the traditional Vietnamese wedding gown for pray and exchange
ring. The traditional Vietnamese wedding
gown looks so nice. Besides pray, both families also have to stand in front of the
entire senior family member to announce the marriage and they will be the witness
of the whole ceremony.

After that, they will change to model wedding gown to
have part 2 ceremony parties. The food they serve it really special. 1 dish
will be have some Vietnamese pastry , Soup , Steam Squid , Steam Prawn , Vietnamese
fried sticky rice wrap chicken, Fish & ect. All the food was so fresh and delicious.
