Sesame ball is a type of fried Chinese pastry and it made by glutinous rice flour and coated with sesame seeds on the outside. Normally will add in some filling inside as well.
Ingredient :
(Can make 8 big size ball or 12 small size ball)
- 3/4 cup Glutinous Rice Flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 100ml hot water
- 1tsp oil
- sesame
- red bean paste
Instruction :
- Add glutinous rice flour ,sugar and baking powder into the bowl
- Add in hot water and mix well
- Add in oil and mix it well and start to knead until dough smooth.
- Cover it with plastic wrap and put aside about 15min or an hour
- Divide dough into 8 portion and make it round
- Prepare a bowl water and the a bowl sesame
- Take a small dough and add in filling rub it in ball. Then put it in water bowl
and transfer it to sesame bowl then cam put aside waiting for fried
- Fried the sesame ball with middle hit fire with 7 min
